Discount Callaway Golf Clubs - Finding Discount Callaways Isn't As Hard As You Might Think

Discount Callaway Golf Clubs - Finding Discount Callaways Isn't As Hard As You Might Think

Golf Clubs

Can you buy discount Callaway golf clubs? Obviously, if you've been into golf for any length of time, you know that Callaway is one of the top brands in the world and also one of the most expensive. Therefore, if you don't have a lot of money to shell out for golf clubs, finding discount ones are essential.

More often than not, better players have bought these golf clubs, but beginners id not simply because they were so expensive they didn't believe it justified the expense. However, when you find discount Callaway golf clubs, you get the benefit of one of the top brands in the industry for a fraction of the normal price.

Even if you are just starting out, and aren't a top player, why handicap yourself off the bat by buying inferior equipment. Even if your game is not where you want it to be, the best way to get there, aside from having a good swing, of course, is to get top quality golf clubs, which are the next most important thing behind your golf swing.

The truth is, most people don't realize it, but when you know where to look, there are many discount Callaways available. Typically, these are almost as high quality as new clubs, so you don't have to worry about a huge drop off in effectiveness. Unless you are a scratch player, you probably will not see any difference in the clubs at all from the new Callaways.

The best way to save, of course, is to buy used, as new clubs will always net you the highest price possible. Used clubs are usually not that inferior to new clubs, but can be just as effective. As with used cars, when you know what to look for, you can save a ton of money without paying the new prices.

First, try your local golf shop. They will likely have a section devoted to used clubs, and you should focus on these if you are looking for discount Callaway golf clubs. The people there will be able to find the best one to help your game, as they will likely have a club fitting area where you can try out the different clubs and see which one works the best.

This is a nice place to start out, and the advantage it has over the internet is that you can test out the clubs before buying them, always a smart idea. What happens if you buy clubs online, only to get them and find out they aren't the right ones for you? You are pretty much sunk. This is pretty much a foolproof method for finding discount Callaway golf clubs.

Cheaper Golf in Arizona - Membership or Discount Golf Card?

Cheaper Golf in Arizona - Membership or Discount Golf Card?

Golf Clubs

This question may very much depend on where you live and how much you play. Many cities and towns have only expensive golf memberships or none at all. If you live where there are a lot of golf courses, it's likely that you will have many options, including the purchase of a Discount Golf Card, such as the Southwest PGA Card.

Private Golf Club Membership

These types of memberships are often expensive to purchase and to maintain. Many clubs will require an "initiation fee", which can be owned (equity ownership) and hold value, or not owned (non-equity) and are non-refundable. Let's say that you find a private club to join. It will likely have one of the aforementioned initiation fees (typically ,000 to 0,000). Additionally, most clubs will have a monthly charge that you must spend, say about 0 to 0 per month. This may be simply a fee, or applied to food, apparel or other purchases, and every club applies this in their own way. They may also charge for cart use.

Having a private golf club membership can be prestigious and have benefits such as: social events, tennis membership, spa use, exercise room, or any number of other benefits the club can offer. All of these are for you and your family's enjoyment, but they are not for individuals or families who are on a budget and want to save their nickels.

Public or Semi-private Golf Club Membership

These types of memberships are sometimes referred to as "annual golf passes". There may also be "seasonal passes" available, especially in regions of the country where there are a lot of seasonal visitors, such as Scottsdale, Arizona during the winter months. Here, we will discuss only annual passes, or memberships.

An annual golf pass will have no initiation fee attached to it, and will almost never have monthly purchase requirements. On the other hand, there will be less in the way of social events and other amenities offered to the member.

The annual pass is a great way to decrease the per-round cost of golf, especially if you are an avid golfer. Let's say that you play two to three times a week on average, which might be 130 times a year. The annual golf pass is typically 00 - 00, so let's assume about 00 average. Your rate per round would be .46 under this scenario (yes, many of you play a lot more, so you'll save a lot more!). Compare this to the cost-per-round average of about in the Phoenix area, and there is substantial savings. In the winter, the Phoenix area golf courses can run - 0 per round.

Discount Golf Cards

There are a number of discount golf cards offered for sale in the Phoenix area, including the SWPGA Card (5), the Eagle Card (), the Premium Phoenix Card (), the Gold Card (9), and the Troon Card (0). Each of these cards gives you a discount of between 20% and 50% at certain golf courses. The SWPGA Card covers most of the courses in the Metro Phoenix area, and the Phoenix card covers only the Phoenix municipal courses. The other cards cover courses that are managed or owned by the card issuer. This may be the way to go for individuals who do not play frequently, but like to get out once a week or so.

Discount Tee Times

There are tee times available online through many sources, including AZGolfPass. You can save typically about % - 35% by booking online, but might find up to 50% savings on some tee times. Expect that there may be an additional booking fee for booking online, for .00 to .00 per booking.
